First up this weekend:
Saturday night.
Post World Cup exit and we all headed off to the Wedding of the Year, Mr Rich Nunn finally managed to convince Lisa that he's worth the risk.
Rich is one of my colleagues at Nostalgia & Comics and is a fantastic bloke.
The wedding was great and we all had a lovely night.
Congratulations to the bride and groom & much luck for their future together.
Plentiful drink was consumed and we have learnt the following:
Wedding DJs are scum. And the one last night was talentless scum.
Rich Nunn has one of the most eclectic musical tastes I've ever known and his face when the opening bars of Chesney Hawkes thundered out from the speakers was just hilarious.
Nostalgia & Comics, as a unit, can certainly win a drinking and staying up late contest.
(Well, actually, Stuart can win that one all on his lonesome).
David Wells does look good on the dancefloor.
Sunday:
Most of the day was spent at Helen's (Louise's niece) 18th Birthday party.
Another very enjoyable day trying not to expire of heatstroke.
But it really makes me feel old when people I babysitted and have read bedtime stories to are having 18th birthdays. It really shouldn't be allowed.
Happy Birthday Helen.
