The Annual Bruton Mansions
Christmas Eve Message to the nation

It appears that some old German lady has Christmas Day all sewn up for mass messages to the nation so I'm going to pre-empt her and grab Christmas Eve.

Life at Bruton mansions this year has been a little out of the ordinary. For a start we've had two separate Bruton mansions. The house move seemed to define our year. But we're here now, loving the change, enjoying our new life and looking forward to settling further into Yorkshire life.

Of course, moving house meant moving on and many sad goodbyes that had to be said.
Obviously we all miss our friends and we'd like to wish you all the very best for Christmas and the New Year. We'll be coming back to Birmingham at some point early in the New Year and will look you all up as and when we can.
But please think of us and maybe next time you have a weekend free you may consider popping up to see us. We have a spare room now and are more than willing to put you up.

Perhaps the most difficult thing for me to give up was the connection with Nostalgia & Comics. A 19 year love affair with a comic shop came to an end in 2006, and it affected me much more than I really thought it would.

So to all our friends in Birmingham and all our friends elsewhere, plus the readers of this blog, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Lots of love, Richard, Louise and Molly.
