Today at work I did my first honest to goodness networking fix. I was so pathetically pleased with myself.
All it was was to put a cd-rom onto the server and then pick it up from the server from the machines in the ict suite. But I did it all by myself and still feel the warm glow of a job well done.
Of course, even better was showing one of the little Foundation (4 year old - it's what they call the reception class) girls how to use the mouse. The look on her face as she realised that it was this little piece of plastic in her hand moving the pointy thing on the screen - that was a picture!
