Yes, today we were out at B&Q getting our first ever electric mower, much to the disgust of our gardening consultant (dear old dad).
For years Louise has been moaning about cutting the lawn with a hand mower but even she couldn't justify an electric mower for the tiny patch of grass we had in Birmingham.
But now we have slightly more grass and the old lawnmower was on it's last legs so we trundled off to B&Q where Louise started getting all excited at the thought of a proper electric mower.
After much deliberation we got the smallest electric mower they had.
Louise was terribly excited and as soon as we got back in she assembled the thing and gave it an inaugural spin round the garden.
And again.
And again.
Safe to say the lawn has been well and truly mowed.
(Oh god, what a terribly sad life we lead).
