Pocklington Pictures .....

Latest in a series of posts wherein I venture round the town with my camera. This serves two purposes: First, it gets me taking pictures and second, I get to show some of the nice town I live in to the wider world.

The Feathers Hotel. Lovely, old fashioned style pub / hotel in the heart of the town. Always welcoming and warm with a lovely roaring fire in the heart of winter.


This time, a few shots from Market Place, exploring some of the little alleyways of the town.


The Cherry Tree restaurant, tucked away from the rest of the town on one of the alleys. I've been there twice and it's lovely. It is stuck in a gastronomic timewarp somewhere circa 1980, but delicious food nonetheless.
