Criminal Macabre is absolutely fabulous. It's a simple book & it's shot through with horror & crime clichés. But that doesn't matter, provided you take it as the thrill ride it's designed to be.It's got a monster hunting P.I. with a drug problem and a habit for finding all sorts of supernatural trouble. It's got werewolves, vampires, ghouls & lots of blood. But most importantly it's got a writer having the time of his life putting this stuff on paper & a very talented artist putting it on the page. Both are obviously passionate about horror and it shows. Hard boiled horror. Read on.
