Jeff Smith, first Bone, now Captain Marvel. Fantastic.

Lovely link from the Newsarama Blog yesterday. They're absolutely right, how much money do we need to give DC before they give Jeff Smith everything to play with?

Personally I had absolutely no interest in Captain Marvel. But it looks like I may be tempted to have a good look at Shazam! The Monster Society of Evil when it comes out. What I'm seeing on Boneville and other sites just looks too wonderful to avoid.

And as for the old chestnut about kids not reading comics anymore, have a look at this post from Jeff Smith regarding a Bone signing - plenty of kids read Bone it seems. (scroll down for the pictures).
