Well, despite the dire warnings of the Met office, the Environment Agency and every weather channel we could find, the floods haven't returned.
Last weekend it seemed to rain non-stop Saturday to Monday. But the worst we've had so far this weekend is several really heavy 10 minute showers and a few hours of heavy stuff Saturday night.
Which means that the floods of last Monday haven't be repeated and we can all get on with stuff as normal.
Phew.
