My favourite comic of 2007 has just (as in a week ago, but I've only just got to writing about it type of just) been optioned for a TV series. If it's done well, it could be great. But I take the Alan Moore approach to these things; I'm really pleased someone likes it enough to pay for it. I'm pleased that the creators get a bit of cash for the rights. But th ething is a completely sepearte entitiy from the comic.
If you want to experience Shooting war in it's glory - buy the book. That's how they originally intended it. That's how it will always be done best. But congrats to Anthony Lappe and Dan Goldman.
