Anyone want to pay for me to go out and cover Angouleme 2009?

Oh, go on. You know you want to really. Because Joe's just put the advance international line up for Angouleme 2009 online at the FPI blog courtesy of Wim. It's a fantastic list, the best for many years.....

First of all, Shaun Tan (Australia), who won the award for the best album this year, will be there, probably with new work. A large contingent of superior cartoonists from the States will be over, with people like Daniel Clowes, Adrian Tomine, Chris Ware, James Kochalka, David Heatley, Posy Simmonds and Melinda Gebbie.
Last but not least, the cartoonists from the legendary (and quite controversial) South-African Bittercomix collective seem to have reunited, and will take the festival by storm in pure Sonic Youth style, with Karlien de Villiers, Joe Daly, Joe Dog and Conrad Botes present.

So,anyone want to fund my trip?
