Well, the Wonder Stuff Christmas gig goes ahead tonight at the Academy in Birmingham. (look here & here)
But sadly it goes ahead without me. Tonight is the Pocklington Christmas fair. Lights get turned on, shops open late, mince pies, mulled wine, carols, visit from Father Christmas, real reindeer. Essentially, from what I've heard, I'm imagining something out of a Hollywood version of exactly what a traditional English Christmas is like.
So, sorry folks, have a good time without me. Next week I will be trying to get to see Mark Thomas at the m.a.c. on Wednesday. It may involve me driving down to Birmingham and back in one night, but it's a Mark Thomas gig - it's worth it!
